2023 Candidate Training Academy

This premier program has been designed to identify, educate, and equip community leaders to run competitive, quality campaigns for local political positions. This exclusive course will teach you the nuts and bolts of campaigning, how to be a successful fundraiser, execute strategic grassroots outreach, and connect you with the local political players.

This program costs are $149

How many applicants will be accepted?
We are accepting 15 applicants for the 2023 cohort.

What makes this program unique?
Our candidate training academy differs from other similar courses: it’s a non-partisan group and are business minded. Our presenters come from all different walks of life and political parties.

After completion, what political seats can I run for?
You can run for any seat you desire! However, this program is tailored for local positions such as city council, county commission and state legislative seats.

Apply for the 2023 Candidate Training Academy

Applications are due by 5:00 PM Tuesday, August 31, 2023, or when program applicant acceptances reach capacity.

This application form is for those interested in applying for this Washington County Chamber of Commerce program. 15 applicants will be selected to participate. If selected, you will be notified and sent a registration link to pay and confirm participation in the course.

The application asks for your contact information, resume upload, one reference, and there are three open-ended questions.
