Veterans Business Advisory Council
The Veterans Business Advisory Council (VABC) was established to empower and connect Washington County Veteran business owners and workforce to relevant community-wide relationships through leadership, professional development, collaboration and engagement.
The Veterans Business Advisory Council also invites Chamber members with a legacy of Veteran support to become involved – those include spouses of Veterans, military families, supporters and businesses providing special services to the Veteran community.
Benefits Include:
• New Relationships – Veteran members receive opportunities to create new valuable relationships within the community.
• Business Opportunities – Members further grow their businesses through Veteran interaction and presence within the Chamber.
• Professional Development & Education – Provide training and continuing education to members through Veteran service organizations.
• Veteran connections/opportunities – The Veterans Council helps identify unique connections and for Veterans and Veteran-owned businesses not available to traditional businesses. As a result of serving their country, Veterans are bestowed unique benefits and resource support through the business community.
The Veteran’s Business Advisory Council meets the last Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. This Council is currently meeting in hybrid form with the in-person meeting held at the Washington County Chamber of Commerce. Contact Christian Vasquez-Rivera at ChristianVR@WCChamber.org to learn more.
