Dear Chamber Members,

We are well into 2026, and there is already significant momentum across our business community. Thank you for being part of the Washington County Chamber. Your membership helps drive the work we do every day.

In Salem, our Public Policy and Advocacy efforts are in full swing. We are engaged on legislation that impacts how businesses hire, build, invest, and compete.  We continue to represent Washington County business interests in the Capitol every day, ensuring your voice is present in committee rooms and policy conversations. I encourage you to review the Advocacy in Action section of this newsletter and visit our newsroom for ongoing updates as the session progresses.

We are also pleased to introduce a new insurance offering available exclusively to Chamber members. This program provides access to affordable coverage options designed to support business owners, employees, and families. It is one of our newest ReMember Benefits, and we encourage you to explore whether it may be a good fit for your organization. Learn more here. Download the flyer here.

The 2026 Genentech Washington County Women’s Conference & Expo is just weeks away, featuring a refreshed format and keynote remarks from Hillsboro Mayor Beach Pace. We hope you will join us for what promises to be an inspiring and energizing afternoon. Sponsorship opportunities are still available for businesses looking to elevate their visibility and demonstrate support for women in leadership.

We are also preparing for the 2026 Spring Candidate Training Academy, a nonpartisan program designed to equip future candidates and campaign supporters with practical tools and insights about public service. If someone comes to mind as you read this, I encourage you to share the information with them. Strong communities begin with prepared leadership.

By now, you should have received your 2026 Chamber membership sticker in the mail. We would love to see it proudly displayed at your place of business. Snap a photo and send it to Ashley Brewer at ashleyb@wcchamber.org, and we will share your Chamber pride across our social channels.

Thank you for your continued partnership and commitment. The Chamber’s work is stronger because of you, and I look forward to connecting throughout the year ahead.

With very best regards,
Josh
