Dear Chamber Members,
As I prepare to step down as Chair of the Board of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, I want to share my sincere appreciation for the trust, support, and partnership you have extended to me throughout my years of service. Serving this organization has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life, and I am deeply thankful for the opportunity to work alongside so many dedicated business owners, community leaders, and advocates who care about the future of Washington County.
When my family and I made Hillsboro our home, I had no idea how profoundly this community would shape my journey. Through the Chamber, I have had the privilege of learning not just about our local economy and business landscape, but about the people, cultures, and stories that make this city such a remarkable place. Hillsboro is where my family has grown, where my connections have deepened, and where my commitment to public service has taken root.
I am grateful for the leadership opportunities this organization has provided, from strengthening partnerships to helping advance inclusion, access, and representation in our region. I am also incredibly thankful for the chance to work closely with Deanna Palm for many years. Her guidance, professionalism, and dedication to this Chamber have left a lasting mark on me and on our community. Deanna’s commitment to leading with heart and purpose is something I will always carry forward.
To our Board of Directors, Chamber staff, diversity councils, and the entire membership, thank you for allowing me to contribute to this work. The relationships we have built and the progress we have achieved together reflect the strength, resilience, and vision of this business community.
Although I am stepping down from my leadership roles, I remain committed to supporting the Chamber as a business member. My respect and appreciation for this organization and for all of you will continue well beyond my time in service.
Thank you for the honor of serving as your Chair and for helping make this community a place my family and I are proud to call home.
With gratitude,

Titonian Wallace Sr.
