The Washington County Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit 501 (c) 6 organization under the Internal Revenue Service code. Payments to the Washington County Chamber are not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution but may qualify as a business expense. Please consult your tax advisor. The Washington County Chamber of Commerce estimates that 3% of your membership dues will be expended for lobbying activities and are therefore non-deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.
