Call for Vendors: Celebrate and Showcase at the Washington County Juneteenth Celebration

Join us at “The Reunion.”

Hillsboro, OR— The Washington County Chamber of Commerce Black Advisory Business Council announces a unique opportunity for vendors to participate in the upcoming third annual Washington County Juneteenth Celebration presented by Pardio Fitness®. The 2024 theme is “The Reunion.” This event not only commemorates a pivotal moment in American history but also honors the rich cultural heritage and contributions of the African American community. The Juneteenth Celebration is scheduled for June 8, 2024, at Jerry Willey Plaza from 12:00 noon to 6:30 p.m. “The Reunion” invites vendors of all backgrounds to showcase their products, services, and tasty bites in a supportive and dynamic environment.

This year’s Juneteenth celebration is more than an event; it’s a platform for showcasing the achievements and voices of the community we aim to honor. We invite local businesses to be a part of this vibrant celebration by reserving vendor booths. Vendor space is limited and those interested are encouraged to reserve their booth as soon as possible. Vendor booths include a 6-foot by 2.5-inch table and two chairs for each vendor space, ensuring a comfortable display and interaction area. Vendors may bring a 10×10 tent, with the requirement that it must be secured with 25lb weights on each leg to ensure stability and safety (the use of water weights for tent security is strictly prohibited).

With a special emphasis on promoting Black entrepreneurship, this category allows Black-owned businesses to participate for a fee of $100, offering a platform to connect with the community and showcase their products and services. For a fee of $200, businesses of all types are invited to participate, engage with the community, increase their visibility, and celebrate Juneteenth. Also, at a participation fee of $200, food vendors are encouraged to share their traditional and contemporary cuisines, providing a taste of diversity and celebration.

Space is limited, and vendors are encouraged to reserve their booth as soon as possible to ensure their spot in this significant celebration. Interested parties are encouraged to contact Tali Reed at 503-726-2145 or TaliR@WCChamber.org for more information and to reserve their vendor space or visit: https://www.washingtoncountychamberor.com/juneteenthcelebration/.
