Chamber Announces Washington County Women’s Conference and Expo
Major biotech firm, Genentech, supports annual event focused on empowering women in business.

 

Hillsboro, Oregon – The Washington County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the 2024 Washington County Women’s Conference and Expo, proudly presented by Genentech. This significant event is scheduled for Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the Embassy Suites Washington Square in Tigard, running from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This half-day event will feature 20 exhibitor booths dedicated to supporting women in business and includes luncheon with a keynote speaker with purchase. The event is open to all women in Washington County, Oregon, and offers free admission from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. For those wishing to stay after 11:30 tickets are $60 and include admittance to the luncheon with keynote.

Deanna Palm, President and CEO of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, expressed her excitement about the partnership, saying, “We are thrilled to have Genentech as a partner for this pivotal event. The Chamber is inviting local businesses to participate in the event as exhibitors. The 2024 Washington County Women’s Conference & Expo presents a unique opportunity for businesses to connect with women professionals and leaders across various fields. We particularly encourage women-owned businesses and those promoting women in the workplace to participate. Exhibitor booths are available for $250 and include all necessary amenities, along with exclusive access to an exhibitor’s networking continental breakfast.
