Electronic Certificates Of Origin
The Washington County Chamber of Commerce offers online Certificates of Origin through an affiliation with the American World Trade Chamber of Commerce. A Certificate of Origin is an international trade document attesting that goods in an export shipment are wholly obtained, produced, manufactured, or processed in a particular country. Completing your Certificate of Origin online through the Washington County Chamber helps eliminate the likelihood of errors and reduces the cost. Also, key information is stored, allowing for repeat certificates to be created without the need for repetitive form filling.
Exporters and freight forwarders must register to access the program by creating an account and submitting the application form through this link. Once your registration is processed, login credentials will be provided.

All documents issued through this platform will bear the official AWTCC seal, which is recognized by customs authorities around the world.

How the Program Works
All Chamber Seal clients, both members and nonmembers, will need to register to use the AWTCC online portal to process their certificate if they choose to continue in the program.
- Register online via the AWTCC online portal.
- Watch for a confirmation email from our processing partner, AWTCC.
- Access the portal using emailed confirmation and finish the application process, including confirming a User ID and Password specific to each user.
- When ready, upload the Certificate of Origin and invoice information on the AWTCC site. For the majority of importers, AWTCC certificates are the only sealed document needed. No need to seal the invoice, airbill or packing slip.
- Download and print the completed electronically sealed certificate. If an embossed seal is needed separate instructions will be given.
- Pay for the seal on the AWTCC site.
Program Cost
- Washington County Chamber of Commerce members: $25 per certificate document
- Future members: $50 per certificate document
Please note that Certificate of Origin seals are not processed in the Washington County Chamber’s offices. All clients must access the AWTCC online portal for Certificate of Origin seals.
