Dear Chamber Members,

As we head into the holiday season, I wanted to take a moment to share how grateful I am for the warm welcome I’ve received and how excited I am to step into the role of President & CEO of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce. This is a special organization, and I’m honored to help lead the important work ahead.

In my first few weeks on the job, I’ve prioritized meeting with staff, volunteers, and local leaders, building on the strong foundation and longstanding relationships already in place at the Chamber. These conversations have been a priceless opportunity for me to better understand the priorities of our business community and how our organization can help find a solution. The Washington County Chamber’s work is rooted in showing up, staying connected, and making sure businesses have access to the resources and decision-makers they need to succeed – I couldn’t be more excited to help lead the charge in what we all hope is a more certain and prosperous 2026.

I am also looking forward to every opportunity to connect with our membership, whether that’s at one of our many events, through our incredible slate of committees and councils, or somewhere down past the third base line at a Hops game this Spring. Our first opportunity to gather in the New Year will be the 2026 State of Washington County Business, where we’ll roll out the Chamber’s legislative priorities and talk about the issues shaping our business community. I sincerely hope you’ll join us.

As we wrap up the year, I want to say thank you for the great work you do and for your commitment to our Chamber. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to the team or me if we can be helpful in any way – We all look forward to hitting the ground running in 2026.

With very best regards,

Josh Tompkins
President & CEO
Washington County Chamber of Commerce
